Call about gunshots at Johnson City apartment leads to prescription pills charges

Kristopher Orrick

After investigating a report about shots fired at a Johnson City apartment, police arrested a 31-year-old man on drug possession charges Sunday.

Police were called to 111 Roseview Drive, Apt. 18, about 7:15 p.m. after receiving a report of shots fired from that residence.

In a consensual search of the apartment, police found that the resident, Kristopher Orrick, had Xanax, Clonazepam, Oxycodone and Oxycotin pills without prescriptions, police said in a news release.

Orrick was charged with possession of schedule II and schedule IV drugs for resale and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released from the Washington County Detention Center on $21,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance today.
