Johnson City police Wednesday charged a man with the robbery of an Eastman Credit Union branch in Boones Creek earlier this month.
William Jacob Henry, 23, 3 Osprey Point, was charged with robbery.
About 10:20 on May 3, a man entered the Eastman branch at 4307 N. Roan St., No. 1, and demanded money from a teller. He had his face covered and wore a black and orange-billed Baltimore Orioles hat with an “O” on the front. He left the credit union with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Investigators at the time declined to disclose whether the robber had a weapon.
Police said Wednesday the investigation led to Henry.
Henry was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance today.
