Pedestrian killed after being struck twice in Greeneville

GREENEVILLE — A Greeneville woman was struck and killed by a truck Sunday night on U.S. Highway 11E only minutes after being hit in the arm by another motorist, according to a crash report.
Donna Davis Henderson, 41, 545 Sioux Trail, Greeneville, died after being hit by a truck driven by Dennis Gerald Chapman, 63, 1239 Robinhood Road, Greeneville around 10:20 Sunday night in the 1400 block of 11E.
Henderson was taken to Laughlin Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Henderson was reportedly in the road and had been struck a few minutes before on her left arm by Barbara Crum, 53, 270 Roaming Drive, Chuckey, according to the Greeneville Police Department report.
Crum turned her car around to come back and check on Henderson. She was holding her left arm.
Crum called 911 and was telling Henderson to get out of the road, but she seemed not to understand, according to the report.
Henderson was then struck by Chapman.
