NE Tennessee men killed in Morristown wreck

MORRISTOWN — Police have identified two Hawkins County men who were killed when their vehicle lost control and collided with an oncoming SUV in Morristown on Sunday.

Kylar Travis Lewis, 19, of Bulls Gap, was behind the wheel of a 2001 Nissan Sentra during the crash, which was reported at 12:50 p.m. along East Morris Boulevard, according to Morristown Police Department Maj. Michelle Jones.

The car veered off the roadway at a curve, across a raised grass median and slid into the path of a westbound Chevrolet Envoy, which struck the Sentra on its passenger side.

Andrew Grout, 22, of Bulls Gap, who was riding as a passenger in the Sentra, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Jones.
