Two Johnson City residents were possibly injured after swerving on a motorcycle to avoid hitting a sedan at around 3:40 p.m. on South Roan Street, police said.
Corban Lipscomb, 21, and Cassandra Ridenour, 20, crashed about 250 feet away from University Parkway while riding a white 2008 Honda B60, according to a crash report.
Lipscomb and Ridenour suffered possible injuries and both were transported to the Johnson City Medical Center.
The driver of a blue 1998 Ford Escort, Gabrielle Howell, 22, of Harriman, failed to yield while making a left turn, according to the report.
Neither Howell nor the passenger in the sedan, Race Brannon, 21, Johnson City, were reported to suffer injuries.
Emergency crews and police are on the scene of a motorcycle crash with multiple injuries on South Roan Street.
The wreck near the intersection of South Roan and Lafe Cox Drive was reported around 3:45 p.m. Dispatchers reported that at least two patients were expected.
