More charges expected against teens in sexual exploitation case

SPRING HILL — Police anticipate more charges will be brought against four teen Spring Hill boys accused of distributing nude photos sexted by teen girls who attended their high school and using them in some cases to extort the girls for more photos.

Initially, three boys who attend Summit High School were charged April 5 with 24 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

A fourth boy was charged Thursday with sexual exploitation of a minor, without the aggravated portion of the charge, because police say he possessed nude photos but did not distribute them, said Spring Hill Police Lt. Justin Whitwell.
