A dump truck wound up in a weird predicament Thursday afternoon on Boone Street in Johnson City.
The truck's bed was raised and got hung on utility wires in front of the old Memorial Hospital building around 1:30 p.m., lifting the driver side wheels off the road.
A Johnson City Power Board crew member removed the wire, and a wrecker arrived to stabilize the truck, allowing the truck to back up without turning over.
The truck was owned by WBJ Trucking of Johnson City.
