A Limestone man was charged as a habitual motor offender and other traffic violations, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
William J. Ball, 46, 774 Bailey Bridge Road, was stopped by deputies for running a stop sign at the intersection of Gravel Hill Road and Bailey Bridge Road, according to a news release.
Ball’s license was suspended for DUI. He was classified as a habitual motor offender, which makes it a felony for him to be driving on Tennessee roads, according to the release.
Ball was charged with a stop sign violation, driving on a revoked license and the habitual motor offender violation.
He was being held in the Washington County Detention Center on $6,000 bond.
His hearing was scheduled for Wednesday in Sessions Court.
