According to a KPD press release, a woman who had been walking on Lynn Garden Drive Thursday morning near Sevier Terrace Drive encountered a woman driving a maroon Honda Accord. The walker said the woman, who police identified as Stephanie Salyers, was hysterical and told her she was looking for her toddler son who was dead somewhere in the area.

Police say Salyers left when she was told no child had been seen. Police said that efforts to locate the child and Salyers failed to produce any information.
