A Bluff City woman was arrested Wednesday for allegedly shoplifting at a local store, a police press release said.
According to the release, Angela K. Huffman, 41, 780 Dry Branch Road, was arrested following an investigation into a reported theft at Walmart, 2915 W. Market St.
Huffman was charged with one count of shoplifting over $500 and was taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where she was being held on $5,000 bond.
She was scheduled to appear in Sessions Court Thursday at 9 a.m.
