Greene County crash leaves one dead, two injured

One person was killed and two others injured in a crash in Greene County Monday.
According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol crash report, James M. Kirkpatrick 42, of Greeneville, was driving a motorcycle south on Mount Hebron Road about 4 p.m. Monday when he ran into the driver’s side door of a vehicle driven by Mary B. Hankal, 85, also of Greeneville.
Hankal was attempting to turn left onto Mount Hebron when Kirkpatrick struck her car. The crash happened near 260 Mount Hebron.
Kirkpatrick died and his passenger, Holly Ricker, 22, was injured.
Hankal was reported injured also. She was cited for failure to yield.
