A Johnson City man was arrested Thursday on a theft charge for allegedly embezzling money from his employer.
Gary Conrad, 43, 829 Clairmont Rd. #1, is charged with theft over $10,000.
According to a Johnson City police report, Conrad worked at Jason’s Deli at 1091 Hamilton Place. The general manager, Mark Lemoncelli, told police Conrad took money from the business bank deposits on two occasions, Aug. 19 and Sept. 21.
The total amount taken was $24,000, according to the report.
Conrad was jailed on a $10,000 bond and was scheduled for arraignment Oct. 24.
