PINEY FLATS — The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of thefts and vandalism incidents that occurred Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Deputies say the majority of the thefts involved vehicles, some of which were damaged in the process. In one instance several items were taken from an enclosed porch. All of the incidents occurred in the Piney Flats section of the county along Allison Road and surrounding areas. A variety of items were stolen including guns, GPS units, DVDs, money, tools, etc.
