KINGSPORT - A woman from Limestone was charged Sunday in a shooting incident Friday night in Kingsport, according to a news release.
Kingsport police charged Cathy McMackin, 57, 101 Glendale Road, Limestone, with attempted first-degree murder.
She was being held in the Kingsport jail.
According to Kingsport police, officers were called to 3633 Montclair Road around 11:40 p.m. Friday to investigate a shooting.
Dino Austin was found inside with a gunshot would to his leg.
He was taken to Holston Valley Hospital, treated and released.
Police began looking for McMackin shortly after the shooting. She was found Sunday.
