A Johnson City man was charged with abusing a 4-year-old child in his care, according to a police news release.
Joshua Johnson, 27, 354 Preservation Circle, was charged after an investigation by the Department of Children’s Services and the Johnson City Police Department.
Johnson said in a statement that he “inflicted multiple bruises” to the child, according to a police news release.
Johnson was being held in the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.
He was scheduled to appear in Sessions Court Thursday.
