Elizabethton police find meth lab in apartment, 3 charged

ELIZABETHTON — Acting on a tip, officers of the Elizabethton Police Department located an active "one pot" clandestine methamphetamine laboratory in the kitchen of an apartment in the Lynnridge Apartment Complex on Sunday.

The investigators also searched the woods surrounding the apartment complex and discovered an active "one pot" meth lab in the woods. A meth dump site was also found where the police said the discarded items from methamphetamine manufacture were dumped.

Following the search Heather Nicole Riddle, 27, 1293 Bluefield Ave.; Kayla Dawn Clark, 24, and Mark Alan Stover, both of 401 Peters Hollow, were arrested. All three were charged with initiation of a process intended to result in the manufacture of methamphetamine and promotion of methamphetamine. Riddle was also charged with maintaining a dwelling where narcotics were manufactured. Stover was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

The three are scheduled to appear in Sessions Court on Nov. 30.
