Two Johnson City men were charged with possessing cocaine and ecstasy Monday, according to a police news release.
Around 9 p.m. Monday Johnson City police charged Louis A. Burton, 23, 8 Trivette Concourse, No. 4, and King K. Kitt, 22, 106 Dyer St., with possession of schedule I drugs.
Police received a complaint about drug activity in the area of 504 Swadley Road and during the investigation searched a vehicle occupied by Kitt and Burton.
During the search police found a small plastic wrapper that contained a substance that tested positive for cocaine, according to the news release.
Ecstasy was found in two small plastic bags on the ground near the vehicle, police said.
Burton and Kitt were taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where they were being held on $10,000 bonds.
Both men were scheduled to appear in Sessions Court Tuesday.
