Milligan clinched yet another Appalachian Athletic Conference player of the week in freshman goalkeeper Heather Crumplen. The Lady Buffs’ volleyball team notched the AAC libero of the week and setter of the week in sophomore Morgan Rutledge and freshman Chelsea Spivey, respectively.

Crumplen is a veteran of sorts to the POW award, earning the honor for the fourth time this season. She has four shutouts for the season and averaged four saves a game in last week’s three games.

Rutledge, libero of the week for the second time this season, totaled 43 digs last week as the Lady Buffs took on Bluefield College, North Greenville University and Mars Hill College and averaged 3.58 digs per game.

Spivey was awarded this POW honor for the third time this season. She set her teammates 112 times in three games last week for an average of 9.33 a game.
