I would like to request that folks from our region contact Sen. Rusty Crowe, R-Johnson City, and ask for his support for the sponsor’s bill that puts the protection for our mountains back in the Tennessee Scenic Vistas Protection Act.

This is to protect the mountains in Tennessee from mountaintop removal by non-local companies to acquire coal and minerals that would be sent to China.
