ELIZABETHTON - Albert Ivey Harrald, 63, Elizabethton passed away Saturday June 9, 2018 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital.

A native of Bristol, Virginia, he was a son of the late Albert Dean & Maudy Hall Harrald. He had lived most of his life in Carter County. He was owner & operator of Alberts Used Cars for 30 plus years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Tom & Lynnwood Harrald, a sister-in-law: Gwen Harrald and a brother-in-law: Larry Rowe. His hobbies were Car Sales, Equipment Sales and Auto Salvage.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years: Connie Higgins Harrald. His Children: Apryle Humphrey & husband Roy, Michael Harrald & wife Janice. His Grandchildren: Kimberly McKeen, Dustin Humphrey, Michael Harrald & Chloe Gentry. His Great Grandchildren: Lilah, Haven, and Conner. His sisters & brothers: Joyce Harrald, Harvey Harrald, Mary Tester, Rebecca Hughes & Husband Eddie, Dallas Harrald & wife Lana, Jerry Harrald, Roger Harrald & wife Candy, “Diane Potter & husband Rick and Violet Hurt & husband Rufus. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. His furry friend Tazzi RuRu. His many friends, business associates & extended family.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Allen Simerly and Mr. Rufus Hurt officiating. Graveside Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Bristol, Virginia with the Rev. William Birchfield officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Randy Tolley, Elwood Clawson, Sam Preslor, Bob Cowie, Julius Oaks, Jesse Reed, Charles Harrald, and Jay Hamby. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Tony Russell, Tony Whitehead, Robert Mensch, Patrick Carpenter, Gary Brewer, Charlie Odom, G.W. Puckett, Phillip Carpenter and Frank Stout. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday.
