Ms. Tishia K. Salters

Ms. Tishia K. Salters, daughter of the late Robert Salters and Martha B. Salters was born November 8, 1976 in Johnson City Tennessee.

She attended the public schools of Johnson City and was a graduate of Science Hill High School. She also attended Adult Daycare Services, and was a past employee of Goodies Clothing. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was a dedicated member of Friendship Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending Sunday School, ushering, and dedicating herself to prayer. Tishia loved writing in her composition books and coloring as well. She loved collecting fancy pens and pencils.

As a result of her spirit and witty personality, she was loved by many, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all that knew her. She quietly departed this life on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in her home in Johnson City Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Salters Jr; grandmothers, Hattie Salters, and Izetha Johnson, a grandfather, George Lee Johnson; one brother, Michelle Moncrief Jr. (June Boy), and three uncles , Billy Salters, Louie Salters, and Walter Salters (Adlay).

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her mother, Martha B. Salters; Sisters, Tammy Moncrief, Brenda Salters, Kimberly I. Collie (Hugh), and Debra Allen; Nieces, Katiana Allen, Rhianna Moncrief; Two nephews, Micah D. Collie(Latonia), and Deshawn Mingo; Special Aunts, Virginia Goins, Jo Rhyans, Brenda Long, Jackie Moncrief Hall; Special uncles, William (Skeek) Long, Richard Salters; Special cousins; Angeletti Bradley(Joe), and LeTonya Long Campbell (Dwayne), Mike Young; a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm Wednesday May 23, 2018 at Friendship Baptist Church in Johnson City. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the church prior to the services. Interment will follow at the Mountain Home National Cemetery.
