Johnny M. Mohlar - JOHNSON CITY

Johnny M. Mohlar, age 75, Johnson City, TN, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at NHC Healthcare of Johnson City, TN.

He was a son of the late Trula Millhorn and George Mohlar. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tina Ruth Mohlar; one sister, Nella Runion.

He was a member of Keystone Freewill Baptist Church.

Mr. Mohlar is survived by his wife, Peggy Ruth Mohlar, of the home; one sister, Willa Mae Armentrout, of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel prior to the services at 8 p.m. Pastor Nathan Jennings, Pastor Bill Greer and Pastor Donnie Shipley will be officiating.

Graveside services will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in the Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Depew, Pat Mathes, Bobby Fulwiler, Ronnie Dean Shipley, Mickey Shipley, Donnie Shipley, Gene Bennett, Scotty Huff, Donald Shipley, Sonny Shipley, Steve Casey and Tommy Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronda Shipley,George Shipley and Robert Canning. Anyone wishing to go in procession please meet at the funeral home by 9:15 a.m. Saturday.
