Heaven gained another angel on January 26, 2013, when Frances W. Edwardson, 83, was called home from the Christian Care Center of Johnson City.

Frances was a lifelong resident of Johnson City and was formerly employed with Baxter Pharmaceuticals for over 20 years. She was a member of both Grace Temple and Thankful Baptist Churches.

She is survived by her son, Steve E. Edwardson; Granddaughter, Shelli G. Fields; Grandson, Sedrick T. Edwardson; and Great Granddaughter, Jaisa S. Calloway, all of Johnson City, TN; a daughter in-law, Lucy Edwardson; and a host of other family members.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lee Williams; her brother Bobby Williams; her sister, Helen Crawford Brady; and her son, Sedrick T. Edwardson, all of Johnson City, TN.

Services will be held at Thankful Baptist Church: receiving of friends from 12-1 p.m., service at 1 p.m. and a graveside service to follow at the Washington County Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Christian Care Center and the staff of Caris Health Care and to acknowledge the support of Connie and James Bradley and Will Ison.
