Charlotte L. Williams, age 68, of Erwin, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Johnson City Medical Center Hospital.

She was a native of Unicoi County and a daughter of Edith Shelton, of Unicoi, and the late Hoy Shelton.

Charlotte was formerly a seamstress and Garment Manager for Industrial Garment for several years. She attended Riverview Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Hardy Shelton.

Charlotte is survived by: Daughters: Judy Woodby, Tina Vanhoy, Tammy Sullins and her husband, Jackie; Grandchildren: Tiffany Woodby, Josh Woodby, Amber Burkett, Coty Vanhoy, Tanner Vanhoy, Jessica Sullins, John Sullins, Jacob Sullins and Jason Sullins; Great-Grandchildren: Landon Davis and Preston Woodby; Brother: Edward Shelton, of Spartanburg, SC, Ronald Shelton, his wife, Robin; Sisters: Edna Brummett, Dee Jones, Lena Onks, her husband, Niles; Aunt: Kate Whitson.

Funeral Services for Charlotte will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 13, 2013, in the Chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Reverend Todd McLaughlin will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service time at Valley Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Edith Shelton, 115 Edith Shelton Road, Unicoi, TN.

A committal service will follow the funeral service at Bell Cemetery.
