Darlene Marie Reynolds, age 67, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012, after a lengthy illness at Holston Valley Medical Center Hospital.

She was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and was a daughter of Anna Marie Ward and the late Maxie Thurman Reynolds.

Darlene worked several years in physical therapy at Brookhaven Nursing Home in Kingsport.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Anna Marie and John Ward, of Jonesborough; two sons, Edward and Robert Alcazar; three sisters, Maxine O’Connor, Bernice Roberts and Judy Bruns; three brothers, Max Reynolds, Kevin Reynolds and John Reynolds; several nieces, nephews, cousins and one aunt.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 15, 2012, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel and services will follow at 6:30 with Pastor J.W. Depew officiating.
