CHURCH HILL — The name of a woman killed in a house fire late Friday night hadn’t been released as of Sunday to give a forensic pathologist time to confirm her identity.

Lawson said the female victim’s two companions gave authorities the woman’s name, but he said he won’t release the name publicly until it is confirmed by a pathologist.
