A cleaning business employee was arrested Monday in Johnson City on a charge that she stole from a client's home.

Amy L. Leonard, 43, Gray, was charged with theft of property over $1,000.

In a news release, police said the victim was using a local house cleaning business at her residence. While Leonard, an employee of the business, was at the victim’s home, property was taken.

Leonard was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance Tuesday.
