KINGSPORT — A pickup truck crashed into a house on Bloomingdale Road Thursday afternoon, leaving the driver with minor injuries.

According to a release from the Kingsport Police Department, James E. Abbott was operating a 2011 Ford Ranger in the yard of the residence at 1167 1/2 Bloomingdale. The KPD said Abbott hit a storage building before crashing through the lower level of the house.
