Man charged with using stolen debit card

A Greeneville man was arrested Tuesday following an investigation into a stolen debit card that was used at several Johnson City locations, according to a police news release.

According to the release, Daniel Lane, 1219 Tanglewood Drive, was charged after he was seen on surveillance video with the stolen debit card at Walmart, 2915 W. Market St.

Lane was taken to Washington County Detention Center and was being held on $23,000 bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Sessions Court today for his arraignment at 1:30 p.m.
