Gray man charged with burglary, theft

Johnson City police arrested a Gray man Wednesday on accusations that he burglarized a neighbor's residence and tried to sell the items he stole to another neighbor.

Britt Jason Thomas, 38, 1736 Old Gray Station Road, No. 1, was arrested after an investigation into a burglary reported by his neighbor Nov. 8.

Police said several items were stolen in the burglary, and Thomas was developed as a suspect after he tried selling some of the property to another resident.

Charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property over $1,000, Thomas was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $20,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance today.

If he stole from a neighbor, he needs to serve some time,this time of the year he should be helping his neighbor. what is sad he is near my house.
