KINGSPORT — Two Kingsport women have been arrested in connection with the Oct. 15 robbery of a 66-year-old man on Princeton Road.

The Sullivan County Sheriff' office reports Jessica Tansie Ward, 20, and Katelynn S. Barnette, 18, both of Model City Apartments on Stonegate Road, are charged in the incident. Two men had previously been arrested in the robbery — including Dalton Doran, 18, who is also charged with attempted murder by Kingsport police in a separate shooting incident.

In the Princeton Road case a female allegedly asked to use the victim's phone, with two men then following her into the residence. The man was then hit in the face and robbed of money, with the three suspects fleeing in a vehicle that waited outside.
