ELIZABETHTON — Police arrested three men early Monday morning on charges that they invaded a Reeser Road apartment and robbed a woman at gunpoint.
Paul B. Trammell II, 23, Rogersville, Antoine M. Anderson, 23, Greeneville, and Wesley R. Woods, 23, Cookeville, were arrested in a traffic stop shortly after the robbery.
About 1:15 a.m., police were called to 124 Reeser Road, Apt. 51, where a woman reported that three men had entered her apartment. One of the men threatened her with a firearm, and the other two stole cash from her, police said in a news release.
Shortly after the incident, police stopped a vehicle matching a description from the robbery. Searching the vehicle, police found cash, two handguns, two stun guns and clothing possibly used in the crime.
Trammell, Anderson and Woods were each charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and theft over $500.
They are scheduled to appear Dec. 18 in Carter County Sessions Court.

Kudos to the Police. Robberies are acts committed by the scum of the earth, whether in high levels of government, private corporations, or down to the lowest levels of society where these creeps obviously live. In today's world, these creeps live at the bottom solely of their own choosing. Never has there been more opportunity to get up out of poverty and ignorance. Shame.
