Johnson City business robbed at gunpoint

A Johnson City business was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning, according to police.

Johnson City police said Cash Express, 711 West Market St., was robbed by a man brandishing a black pistol.

He forced employees into a storage closet and ran off with an undetermined amount of cash.

The robber was described as a tall white man who wore a partial black mask. He had blue eyes and possibly reddish blond hair. He was also wearing a large camouflage jacket.

Police said in a news release that the robber may have been seen just prior to the robbery on a black Harley Davidson or similar type motorcycle.
