Dead puppies found in plastic bag

ROGERSVILLE — A Hawkins County man reported to the sheriff’s office Tuesday he’d found five or six dead puppies in a plastic bag dumped in a creek on his son’s property.
Ed Cradic, 370 Caldwell Road, told the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office he believes the puppies belonged to a neighbor whose female German Shepherd dog had pups. Cradic told the HCSO the neighbor kept one of the pups and the rest hadn’t been seen for a few weeks.
