Treasure! The newest exhibit at Hands On! Regional Museum, 315 E. Main St., features a dozen hands-on activities that allow visitors to try tools of treasure hunting and investigate treasures.

Visitors can drive a remotely operated vehicle underwater, crack a safe, learn their weight in gold, and experiment with real metal detectors to find buried treasure.

Visitors also can learn about treasures in the attic, family heirlooms and long-lost toys that may hold hidden value. A new form of “treasure hunting,” geocaching also is explored.
