Man charged with child rape, incest
By JohnsonCityPress.comwebstaff@johnsoncitypress.comAn 18-year-old city man was arrested Thursday on multiple rape and incest charges resulting from incidents that took place when he was a juvenile, police said.

Email ArticleJohn Robert Barnett, 176 Hopper Road, was charged with four counts of rape of a child and four counts of incest.
Police said in a news release that the charges resulted from an investigation into sexual assaults of a juvenile that occurred at different times in 2008 while Barnett was still a juvenile.
Barnett was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on a $200,000 bond pending a hearing Monday afternoon in Washington County Juvenile Court.
