The fire was discovered when a neighbor got up at 3:50 a.m. to see why her dog was barking. Joan Ramsey said she heard a crackling sound coming from outside. When she looked she saw the fellowship hall on fire. She immediately called 911.
Officer Brad Johnson of the Carter County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the fire.
