KNOXVILLE — Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose nude body was found in the front yard of a North Knox County home Sunday afternoon.

The man’s body was found about 12:20 p.m. hanging from a chain-link fence with wire wrapped around his neck outside a residence in the 6900 block of Maize Drive in Halls, according to a news release from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

The man later was identified as Lawrence Huling, 36, of Corryton.

The body was taken to the Regional Forensic Center at the University of Tennessee to determine the exact cause of death, although foul play is not suspected, according to the KCSO.
