Update: Teen arrested after 3 killed, 1 wounded in Southeast Tennessee shooting

CHATTANOOGA — Three men are dead and one was critically wounded in a shooting in southern Tennessee.

Hamilton County Sheriff's spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said the shooting happened Wednesday night in the community of Lookout Valley.

She said deputies obtained a warrant Thursday morning and arrested 19-year-old Derek M. Morse on a charge of criminal attempted homicide. She says additional charges are pending.

It wasn't immediately clear whether Morse had an attorney.

The names of the victims were not released pending notification of kin. Atkinson says the investigation is continuing and more arrests are possible.

CHATTANOOGA — Three people were killed and one injured in a Lookout Valley shooting Wednesday night, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting happened at 300 Kellys Ferry Road, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Janice Atkinson confirmed.

Police dispatch listings show that a 911 call for a person shot came in at 7:05 p.m.
