Fire forces NE Tennessee school to evacuate; heavy smoke reported in classrooms

BULLS GAP — Bulls Gap School has been evacuated Thursday morning due to an apparent duct work fire that is causing heavy smoke in some classrooms.

Hawkins County Emergency Management Agency Director Gary Murrell said there are no flames visible at this time but there is heavy smoke and two fire departments have responded to the school.
