Music man in town: NPR composer BJ Leiderman backs WUOT

John Shearer • Apr 30, 2013 at 7:38 PM

BJ Leiderman has tried to raise the spirits of National Public Radio listeners over the years with his catchy theme music for such shows as “Morning Edition.”

And this week, he was in Knoxville trying to help local affiliate WUOT raise money.

The noted musician and songwriter stopped by the station’s offices inside the Communications Building on the University of Tennessee campus Monday and Tuesday to help with WUOT’s pledge drive.
