Kelly Hunt, wounded diplomat with ET ties, back in U.S. but still recovering
Today at 6:35 PM
Kelly Hunt, the U.S. State Department staffer and former News Sentinel employee wounded in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan, has returned to the U.S.
Hunt arrived earlier this week at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, said Yvonne Stahl, her aunt.
Hunt’s mother, Dinah, couldn’t be reached Thursday afternoon but posted earlier in the day on Facebook that Hunt remained in critical but stable condition, breathing via a tracheotomy.
