Jonesborough man charged with vandalizing ATM in Johnson City

A Jonesborough man recently was arrested on charges that he vandalized an automated teller machine in Johnson City.
Nicholas M. Halkowitz, 263 Mt. Creek Road, Jonesborough, was charged with vandalism over $1,000.
Police said Halkowitz damaged an ATM machine owned by Johnson City Federal Credit Union on April 4. He was arrested Thursday and jailed in the Washington County Detention Center.
He was released on $10,000 bond Friday pending a return appearance in Sessions Court set for this Thursday.
