The brothers of Kappa Sigma will host the first annual benefit dinner for the fraternity’s philanthropy, the Wounded Warriors Project on Saturday, according to a press release.
The dinner is scheduled for 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 101 W. Springbrook Drive.
U.S. Rep. Phil Roe, R-1st, will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the event, according to the release.
“The chapter is glad to create an event to give back to those who gave so much to our country,” Dylan Chambers, public relations chairman and brother of Kappa Sigma said. “One of our brothers is serving in the military right now; it hits home with us.”
Tickets to the dinner are priced at $30 and veterans receive a $5 discount by entering “USA” in the promotional code at checkout.
According to the release, corporate sponsorships are available — a Gold level sponsorship is $500 and the Silver level is $350.
