GATE CITY, Va. — A Lee County Public Schools guidance counselor and assistant girls soccer coach was indicted by a Scott County grand jury Monday for allegedly having an improper relationship with a player.
Ryan Nathan Turner, 32, of Jonesville, was indicted on three felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor while in a supervisory relationship with that child and a single misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Authorities said Turner fostered a relationship with a young girl he coached before allegedly engaging in improper acts with her.
