'Hey, Soul Sister' band Train to play at ETSU in student/public concert

Grammy-winning band Train will perform at East Tennessee State University next month in a concert for students and the public in the university's mini-dome.

The ETSU Student Government Association announced today Train will be the headliner at the spring event on April 26. Train's hits include "Hey, Soul Sister," "Drops of Jupiter," "Calling All Angels," "Meet Virginia" and "Drive By"

The opening act for Train will be The Dirty Guv’nahs, a local grassroots band from Knoxville.

Doors to the MSHA Athletic Center (mini-dome) will open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7 p.m. ETSU students will be able to receive one free ticket and can purchase up to three more for $15 each.

New this year is the option for the public to attend. Starting April 8, the public can purchase tickets for $15 each. These tickets can be purchased at www.etsu.edu/sga.

This event is open to those 18 and older. IDs will be required and will be checked at the door.
