Man charged with vandalizing Johnson City sports bar

A Gray man was arrested early Monday morning after he allegedly vandalized the restroom of a city bar, according to Johnson City police.

Caleb Warden, 23, 268 Hugh Cox Rd., Gray, was charged with vandalism over $500 and public intoxication.

According to the incident report, officers responded to the call at Bailey’s Sports Bar, 2102 N. Roan St., at 12:45 a.m.

Warden was reportedly seen leaving the bathroom after employees heard “a loud shattering sound.”

Employees told police a trashcan had been tossed at the mirror.

Police said Warden was “extremely intoxicated” and became irate, yelling at officers.

Warden was being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $10,500 bond.
