Lee County man arrested for Duffield car dealership robbery

DUFFIELD — Scott County authorities and Virginia State Police arrested a Lee County man late last week for allegedly stealing car titles and keys from a Duffield used car dealership.
Devin Statzer, 24, 140 Huff Farm Rd., Big Stone Gap, was taken into custody on March 21 on charges of breaking and entering and grand larceny for his alleged role in burglaries at Ward's Used Cars. Statzer was also charged with breaking into the office of Duffield attorney Lisa McConnell.
Scott County Sheriff's Office Investigator Lt. Chris Hold said Statzer could face additional charges for other unsolved burglaries in the Duffield area.
