Incumbents retain seats in Mountain City voting

MOUNTAIN CITY — Two incumbents were re-elected to the Mountain City Board of Mayor and Aldermen in voting held Saturday.

According to the Johnson County Election Commission, incumbents Bud Crosswhite and Kenny Icenhour will serve new two-year terms on the five-member board.

Crosswhite led the voting with 175 votes and Icenhour received 160 votes. Their challenger, Kevin D. Parsons, received 98 votes in the balloting.

A total of 251 voters, 14.45 percent of the total eligible voters, cast ballots in the election.
