An East Fairview Avenue man was charged with drug possession Tuesday after police found LSD on him while arresting him on a warrant, Johnson City police said in a news release.
Jarrod L. Anderson, 24, 1310 E. Fairview Ave., was arrested when police encountered him at 1406 Baxter St. and discovered that he had a warrant for his arrest from Washington County.
Before taking him to jail, police searched Anderson, finding three white LSD blotter papers wrapped in tin foil, police said in the release.
Charged with possession of schedule I drugs, Anderson was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance Wednesday.
He also was charged with violation of probation and attachment for contempt on child support payments, according to Detention Center records.
Editor's Note: A previous version of this article included a different address for the location of Anderson's arrest. Police later issued a news release correcting the address.
